KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide forecasting and analytical capabilities at the asset, portfolio, and fund level for the Funds
Support the fund and portfolio manager through providing analysis of strategic and tactical property portfolio and fund level investment decisions
Support the portfolio manager in the preparation of the annual business plans for the assets
Assist in the sales of assets including, assisting in the due diligence process and preparing appropriate documentation for the internal and external approvals
Assist the portfolio manager in reporting to the Investment Committee, clients, investors, and other interested parties on matters relating to fund analysis and performance, potential new acquisitions and disposals
Assist in reporting to investors, including quarterly reporting, ad hoc investor queries, sales recommendations, cap-ex recommendations, and presentations to the board
Take on certain asset management projects at the property level
Provide analytical support in the preparation of the annual business plans and reforecasting exercises
Provide financial analysis support at the property and corporate levels in the preparation of the annual business plans required under the Asset Management Agreements
Provide analytical support in the regular review of the annual business plans throughout the year
Financially appraise any potential purchases and/or sales for Funds
Provide financial analysis at the property and corporate/fund level for new business projects as and when required
Technical Skills & Qualifications Required
Higher level education and role specific studies
2-5 years experience of the European property market
Asset management skills
A sound understanding of performance measurement and investment analysis principles
Strong analytical skills
Excellent spreadsheet skills
Sound knowledge of database structures and data handling
Experience with Argus valuation software is an advantage
Report writing skills
High standard of computer literacy
Fluent in English, German is an advantage
Flexible in dealing with new and existing tasks when required
Strong communication skills
Ability to think strategically
To seek conclusions on the impact of asset, portfolio and fund investment decisions in an effective manner and to make timely value-based decisions
Flexibility to work with and support team members and work on an individual basis
Ability to identify continued improvement in best practice performance measurement and attribution at the asset, portfolio, and fund level
