Lead Development Manager, Tech
Manages the research, development, integration and implementation of strategic and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Developing a strategy for the development and deployment of new and emerging technologies for systems, applications, network infrastructure, hardware and databases.
Reviewing and approving the acquisition of selected technologies, while monitoring the budget; facilitating communication, awareness and interaction among departments regarding new selected new technologies.
Developing metrics to qualify and quantify criteria for success for new technologies within the business.
Overseeing the integration of new technologies and ensuring selected technologies are consistent with business initiatives and technology architecture.

5+ years of experience in the asset management industry especially as it relates to front office and middle office data in asset management
5+ years managing teams that are responsible for data and analytics platforms in either investment or distribution technology teams
5+ years of experience in Data architecture, Data operations, Data Lineage, Data quality tools, or meta-data platforms
5+ years of Asset management product data (for e.g. smf, performance, prices, analytics, attributionâ¦.)
Good understanding of industry analytics platforms like Bloomberg PORT, FactSet and Perform
Experience in building strategic solutions for client analytics, product analytics, client reporting and other client facing applications
Ability to architect robust systems for the enterprise, with event monitoring, error handling, operational metrics and other areas that overall show operational excellence
Good understanding of architecture frameworks especially as it relates to Micro-Services and integration patterns
Must have inspiring leadership skills to guide a medium sized team of developers/QA resources (both onshore and offshore) by managing both the day to day operations as well as strategic initiatives. Mentor junior members in relevant technologies and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time. Proactively coming to the table with solutions
Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Ability to keep the team motivated and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Work with the extended team to ensure the creation of cohesive strategies for the tech stack
Be comfortable in the implementation of full life cycle enterprise-wide software agile projects across highly matrixed organizations both on the technology and business sides
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs to a coherent technology, strategy and roadmap.Â Deep knowledge of Asset management data including SMF, Analytics, performance, pricing etc
Potential Salary: $153,100.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.Â In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
