TIAA Lead Info Security Engineering Manager - Cyber Engineering in Broomfield, Colorado
The Lead Information Security Engineering Manager supervises a team of professionals who collaborate and partner with various business units and stakeholders across the organization to manage external and insider threat detection, mitigation, investigation and response efforts. The Lead Info Security Manager will participate in the activities of an expert team that develops robust technical solutions and advanced analytics to enable preventive threat detection efforts. This job oversees the testing of the current state of the information security architecture and provides improvement recommendations by gathering key insights found from testing and analyzing the current systems and networks. This job also ensures information security policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports as they determine how to provide optimal IT security for the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manages a team that provides operations and engineering support for critical security systems and services including servers, endpoint security, computer forensics, vulnerability/penetrationassessment/mitigation, and security event management.
Ensures the execution of vulnerability analysis and exploitation of applications, operating systems and networks.
Reviews identified intrusion or incident paths and methods discovered through testing and evaluation procedures.
Oversees the design, development and implementation of countermeasures, systems integration and tools specific to cyber and information operations.
Manages resolution of complex malware and intrusion issues within the system as they occur.
Informs team of industry security updates, technologies and practices on a continual basis to improve overall security management.
Functions as an internal information security consultant on the standards, complex issues and best practices for the organization.
Supervises testing and analysis of complex software systems to determine both the functionality and intent of the systems.
Partners with Cybersecurity Risk and Security Operation teams to enhance the overall security posture of the enterprise.
Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational objectives.
Required Skills:
5+ years' experience in Cybersecurity
5+ years' experience in SDLC and change management
5+ years' experience in Identity Access Management platforms -or- Vaulting platforms (IAM or Secrets management)
5+ years' of experience in Network design -or- Application Development
3+ years of Production support or Quality Assurance (QA)
Preferred Skills:
People/Team Management experience
O/S level knowledge
Strong RCA (Root Cause Analysis) skills
Multiple secrets management and identity management experience (ie: cloud-based, on-prem).
Strong leadership skill
Agile or Scrum familiarity

Base Pay Range: $112,600/yr. - $187,700/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
