TIAA Technical Lead - Microsoft 365 Operational Support in Broomfield, Colorado

Technical Lead

The End User Services (EUS) Collaboration Technology team is looking for a technical lead to join our Operations and support team. We are responsible for the operational support and service administration for TIAA's enterprise Microsoft 365 platform and SharePoint on premise platform as part of our collaboration strategy. Our M365 collaboration tools include SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive as well as Power Platform and other M365 services. Â

The Tech Lead will provide technical leadership in the end to end design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services. Responsible for meeting project schedules and delivering high quality solutions that meet technical specifications and design requirements. May manage the design and implementation of new services with other technologists.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support for SharePoint and supported Microsoft 365 services

  • Defines the solutions for any features that the team is working on​

  • Works with other team members to implement and validate the solutions

  • Understand the platform technical and business roadmap

  • Ensure the team is delivering quality work

  • design and develop technical solutions for supported services

  • Provide Level 3 engineering support for Incident management, Service requests, Change requests and ServiceNow processes for supported services

  • Approves domain solutions and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.

  • Liaises with Senior Leadership on project, operational, and strategy risks and opportunities, along with corrective action plans when required.

  • Manages delivery on all project and operational commitments, including quality and timeliness metrics.

  • Coaches, mentors and delegates work to lower level professionals.

  • Proactively anticipates service issues before they occur and able to make recommendations around resolution

  • Flexibility to the demands of the services we provide and any project to which they are assigned. The role may require out of office hours work

Qualifications

  • 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred

  • University (Degree), Preferred

Required Skills:

  • 5 years administration of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, or Microsoft Office 365.

  • 3 years as technical lead or similar leadership role.

  • 7 years administration of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, or Microsoft Office 365.

  • History of working credibly within teams and delivering high level of support services on the supported platforms

  • Ability to work with people in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones

  • Passionate, committed and determined.

  • Knowledge of Power Platform products, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI

  • Ability to communicate platform capabilities to customer and provide appropriate recommendations

  • Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using advanced oral and written English communication skills

Potential Salary: $138,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
