Business Analyst, Client Servicing Transformation

The Business Analyst, Client Servicing Transformation Program Manager of Client Servicing Technology is responsible for scoping, defining and implementing improvements to client servicing processes, including related development of technology tools (ex. CRMs, workflow tech). This will include coordination with client-facing teams, business partners and technology owners (ex. CRMs), as well as gathering and reacting to feedback (direct and indirect) from clients on how these processes and technology tools can better meet their needs.

As part of Nuveen’s global distribution efforts for Wealth and Institutional clients, we have created a dedicated team to focus on client and asset retention as well as implementing business process changes. This team is responsible for developing the strategy for ongoing platform innovation as well as implementing business process changes across the end-to-end sales process to improve Nuveen’s client experience. We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial and motivated individual to join the Business Transformation team to manage the ways we gather, organize and react to client feedback.

In this role and as part of this team, you will lead efforts to scope, define and implement improvements to cross-functional processes, and how teams leverage technology tools (ex. CRMs, workflow) to fulfill client requests.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and own prioritization & roadmap for certain client servicing functionality in technology tools (ex. CRM, workflow)

  • Partner with client servicing and technology development teams to gather needed requirements to implement improvements in technology tools

  • Drive implementation of technology changes and needed process improvements, working with business partners on adoption, follow ups, etc.

  • Selectively work with client-facing teams to gather feedback from clients that is needed to better define business strategy, process improvements, etc.

  • In collaboration with distribution, relationship management, client services, and marketing partners, lead and coordinate how we gather feedback from clients

  • Work with these teams and other partners (ex. IT) to ensure we are properly organizing and documenting feedback

  • Lead internal reviews, and facilitate discussions with leadership on how this feedback can be leveraged and used to improve the client experience

  • Building presentations and documentation of proposed solutions that can drive engagement with stakeholders and support decision-making

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

Required Experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience of Consulting, Program / Project Management, or Client Servicing roles within Financial Services / Asset Management

Preferred Experience

· 3+ years of experience of Consulting, Program / Project Management, or Client Servicing roles

· Bachelor’s degree

· Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple priorities within complex initiatives

· ‘Self-starter’, able to work independently while maintaining alignment with working teams & stakeholders

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong skills in Microsoft Suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio

Potential Salary: $76,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
