Nuveen Investments Global Sales and Advisor Development Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina
As a Data Analyst within the Global Sales and Advisor Development team, you will be responsible for 1) developing processes and programs to analyze and interpret large sets of data as well as offer recommendations for improvement to deliver best in class reporting; 2) assisting with the development, implementation and execution of the overall strategic learning and development and advisor education strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical insights and strong reporting design, data visualization skill as well as a passion for data science and the continuous learning process.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Identify trends and patterns in data and provide insights to inform business decisions and opportunities for improvement within the Learning & Development and Advisor Education strategy.
Research, understand and share market trends, solutions, and technologies that can be leveraged to maximize resource utilization such as Microsoft Power Apps, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.
Light coding experience with an aptitude for learning new systems and technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, effective feedback loops, and help establish a cadence and a mechanism to communicate results.
Create presentations, reports, and visualizations that illustrate the impact of various activities that will be presented to Sales Leadership and other key stakeholders.
Display curiosity and passion for learning and incorporating new technology as it becomes available.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of data models to analyze ongoing education and coaching of sales teams, measuring and communicating changes in key success metrics.
Interpret large sets of data to identify areas of success as well as opportunities for improvement that can be used to refine strategies, processes, and programs.
Develop and/or utilize existing data and analytics platform to track and measure project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Develop and administer comprehensive surveys for all distribution teams to glean insights from financial advisors, Nuveen sales teams and other internal/external constituents; analyze the results which will be presented to leadership as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in data analysis, statistics, and computer science
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years' experience in data analysis, statistics, and computer science
Bachelor’s degree
Experience or interest in training on technology preferred but not required.
Solid organizational and time management skills
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Power Applications, Tableau, and Salesforce
Coding experience with aptitude for learning new analytics tools and technology
Practical experience in statistical analysis using statistical packages, including Excel and/or other statistical software (SPSS, SAS, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Insatiable curiosity and proactive problem solving
Ability to work independently on projects, multi-task and a self-starter
Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization across multiple business areas

Base Pay Range: $70,000/yr. - $116,700/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
