Mass Market Internal Advisor Consultant

The Mass Market Internal Advisor Consultant job proactively builds business partnerships with advisors in a defined geographic territory through close collaboration with teams involved in marketing, data analytics and digital initiatives. Working under close supervision, the job is responsible for meeting daily outbound call goals, email correspondences and follow ups from digital leads. This job is also responsible for staying current with portfolio and industry developments and being knowledgeable of products and service solutions of the firm.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Makes outbound calls and emails proactively, and engages in web conferences with existing clients and prospects to market, educate and promote solutions of the firm.

  • Profiles advisors using a good understanding of the sales process, including building relationships and closing business.

  • Partners closely with marketing and data and digital teams to follow up on leads, including pipeline management.

  • Maintains inbound call servicing capabilities when not making outbound calls.

  • SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63; Series 65; Series 66; Series 7 and 63 within 90 days of hire

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or combination of 63 & 65); can be obtained within 90 days of hire

  • Bachelor's degree

  • A strong combination of sales and analytical skills

  • Significant knowledge of the financial markets, both equity and fixed income, and the ability to articulate investment discipline with a deep understanding of the process and specific portfolios.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to profile clients.

  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills; ability to analyze and prioritize large amounts of information


Base Pay Range: $42,200/yr. - $70,300/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
