Lead Technology Product Manager

Manages development and coordinates marketing and support efforts for various technology products.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages staffing, development and performance management programs for development teams; manages, motivates and develops project and team leaders.

  • Prepares and manages research and development for the budget; obtains funding for special projects. Develops, implements and monitors research and development approaches, tools, and techniques.

  • Monitors design effectiveness, costs, reliability and safety. Gathers and analyzes financial data to measure the potential profitability of new designs.

  • Evaluates and responds to market needs and demands through modification and the upgrading of products.

IT Product Manager Additional Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Product strategy and execution.

Responsible for maintaining the roadmaps and managing the day to day development of the platform.

Responsible for all documentation of current and future features.

Partner with Application-Dev team as well as others, providing them requirements, tracking the progress, and operationalizing the constructs or entities.

Partner with various internal stake holders, product owners and consumers of the Market-Place platform.

As owner of ‘Marketplace’ you will coordinate the active participation of suppliers.

Expand and efficiently manage the Infra-services through platform.

Work with cross-functional teams for product/services idea to launch with required iterations.

Manage the release plans and sprint schedules.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, preferably working with software as a service (SaaS) products

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum, XP, etc.) as well as managing Agile development teams

  • Experience working with JIRA for creation of Epics, Features and User Stories

  • Experience creating and maintaining roadmaps for your product

  • Experience identifying new product and services opportunities (scope, goals and deliverables)

  • Experience with Tableau or any visualization tool

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in translating feedback to product modifications

  • Conducting gap analysis & technology plans functional teams

  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization

  • Strong documentation skills (Confluence) – Socialization with consumers and suppliers

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills – Updates to senior management

  • Experience with the “Service Now” platform

  • Knowledge of SQL, query databases queries – work with CMDB and data repositories

  • Tableau or another standard reporting system – design and managing the reports and visualization

  • Product marketing experience

  • Graphic Design experience (Illustrator/Photoshop)

  • Software Development skillset (and managing the application developers)

Minimum Pay: $84,700.00
