This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

The IT Business Analyst role will coordinate and facilitate the identification, elicitation, modelling and documentation of requirements in synch with Product Owner(s). Build strong partnerships with business and IT stakeholders. The candidate will focus along simplification and operational excellence principles when analyzing and documenting the requirements for Market-place and DataStore Engineering within Data Platform & Application Services team in an agile environment.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
•A subject matter expert in business analysis for data and infrastructure services platforms
•Lead high-level requirements gathering and strategize with Product Owners, senior technologists and customers.
•Translate business needs into features and agile user stories and enablers that are understood by all stakeholders
•Actively participate in software design/grooming sessions
•Achieve consensus across stakeholders by driving clarity around needs, findings, gaps and mitigation measures
•Lead/partner quality assurance efforts - system, integration and user acceptance testing - to ensure that business requirements are achieved successfully
•Provide guidance on requirements and user stories when required.
•Can lead the team and help setup priority when Product Owner is absent
•Elicit and document business requirements, risks and priorities to establish a clear understanding of the stakeholders’ environment in support of solution development
•Document environmental knowledge and leverage existing knowledge repositories
•Ensure the traceability of individual requirements and adherence to the defined requirements management process
•Research other internal / external approaches to solution design for similar business needs / requirements
•Analyze/interpret business requirements and perform current/target/gap/impact analyses
•Articulate business needs, gaps, impact across all areas and proposals to close gaps.
Validate that the proposed/designed solution(s) and associated testing approach will support meeting the articulated business requirements
•Prepare documents such as expected benefits, gap analysis, use cases, models, and current and proposes process, workflows, data flows, implementation plans and end user guides in accordance with standards and methodologies
•Manage issues, scope and impact
•Identify/escalate and/or manage conflicts, issues and changes in order to appropriately manage scope
•Achieve consensus on scope changes and achieve signoff by all stakeholders
•Identify and support prioritization of client requests by Product Owner
•Challenge assumptions made by either the business or IT in an agreeable manner
5or more years of work experience as a IT business analyst
Experienceworking in Agile or SAFe teams
Strongdata analysis and process analysis skills
Experiencein designing and documenting system and data flows.
Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills
•Financial Services experience
•Knowledge and exposure to Web/Mobile/Infrastructure Development environment
•Detail-orientation and ability to work with business and IT partners
•Superior verbal/written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Performs tasks of high complexity
