TIAA Sr Jira Administrator in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:

TIAA is looking for a senior level JIRA Administrator. This role will administer Atlassian Suite (JIRA, JiraAlign, and Confluence) framework and infrastructure, related plugins, and extensions. Individual in this role works closely with Agile CoP to oversee and manage change control over complex codebase. Managing updates and enhancements to defined release packages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Administration of Atlassian Suite (JIRA, JiraAlign, and Confluence)

  • Ensure availability of the products

  • Continuously monitor, maintain and optimize performance ofAtlassian tool

  • Work closely with vendor in addressing any major upgrades,plug-ins and critical tickets

  • Assist other teams with required modifications topermissions, workflows and add-ons

  • Manage outage notifications and represent upcoming changes atCAB

  • Manage invoices and reqs for Atlassian licenses

  • Work with teams across the organization to troubleshootAtlassian-related issues

  • Serve as point of escalation for Atlassian-related issues

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 4 or more years hands on working experience with AtlassianSuite (JIRA, Confluence)

  • 2 or more years of experience as Groovy Developer

  • 4 or moreyears of JIRA admin experience specifically around customizing workflows, fields,screens, permissions, notifications and issue type schemes

Desired Skills:

  • 3+ years of JIRA Plugin Creation

  • experience with Service Now (ticket queue management, changecontrol, JSD integration) is PLUS

  • SAFecertified RTE

  • Excellentcommunicator who can work with and influence all functions and levels.

  • Self-motivated and a drivenachiever. Motivated to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Expert level Scrum\Kanban related experience
