Client Marketing – Senior Manager, Lifecycle

TIAA is seeking a customer-focused and results driven Senior Manager of B2C Lifecycle Marketing to drive education and engagement to our retirement plan participants. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you will execute customer-centric omni-channel lifecycle campaigns, employing innovative solutions and personalization to drive engagement and conversions. You will partner closely with Digital Experience, Communication & Education Consultants, Creative, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Automation, Database Marketing and Legal and Compliance teams. You are deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail, particularly focused on owned channels

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Execute and measure automated omni-channel marketing campaigns aligned to the customer journey and key moments in their lifecycle: coordinating project milestones and timelines, managing review processes and approvals, proactively communicating status updates/dependencies.

  • Execute workflow requirements to create and launch deliverables, which includes creating briefs, submitting the campaign into our workflow system WorkFront and working cross-functionally with our partners.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including marketing partners, peers, and others to drive efficiencies and alignment.

  • Contribute and outline recommendations to improve the end-to-end campaign development process– identifying gaps, pain points, positive outcomes, and opportunities to streamline.

  • This role will report to the Director – Lifecycle Marketing (B2C).

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Required:

  • 3+ years proven experience with both strategy and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email, direct mail, digital, in-app, push, SMS etc.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years proven experience with execution of marketing trigger campaigns across multiple channels including email, direct mail, digital, in-app, push, SMS etc.

  • Experience in marketing automation, working with platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects/ deliverables in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver on the customer's needs.

  • Proven ability to manage key stakeholders and meet deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity

  • Proven experience launching B2C marketing campaigns in the financial services and/or retirement services

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and reporting in a metrics-driven environment

  • Experience with creating comprehensive customer journeys with key decision points and logic to help drive a more personalized experience

  • Literacy in financial topics and retirement to help drive education at every customer touch point to drive engagement and conversion

  • Proven expertise in project management (Workfront preferred), data-driven marketing, customer segmentation, and automation

  • Ability to both think strategically and implement tactically, with excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Experience with HTML and responsive email design a plus

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $99,900/yr - $150,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
