Nuveen Investments Wealth Alternatives Product Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

The AVP, Wealth Alternatives Product Manager will be responsible for supporting Nuveen’s alternatives wealth product platform (non-traded REITs, BDCs, Interval and Tender Offer funds). This role will be an integral member of the team assisting with fundraising and diligence initiatives and support product enhancements. This is a highly collaborative position supporting AUM generation and P&L management. The AVP should have direct knowledge and experience within the wealth alternatives industry, strong research and analytical capabilities, and a desire for understanding and driving a product’s lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support product management initiatives across Nuveen’s flagship alternatives platform delivered through the wealth channel

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on competitive and regulatory intelligence, producing and communicating valuable research and analysis

  • Ensure products are well positioned within the market; support product training, marketing, and diligence needs across the platform

  • Coordinate with a cross-functional team to create internal and advisor communications across the wealth alts platform

  • Work closely with client service and product cohorts to ensure best-in-class client experience

  • Prepare high quality materials to drive stakeholder engagement, report results, and support decision making for product enhancements

  • Monitor performance, analyzing key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven recommendations to optimize product

Educational Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in financial services that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities for this role

  • Core knowledge base of alternative strategies (real estate, private credit, private equity) and semi-liquid structures (’33 Act, ’40 Act and exempt offerings) with a passion for delivering alternatives to individuals across the globe

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years in financial services that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities for this role

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Current license, or willingness to attain, as Series 7 and 63

  • CFA or CAIA designation, preferred

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to think critically and communicate effectively to a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency and a desire to drive innovation and new processes

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Base Pay Range: $112,500/yr. - $160,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
