The Marketing Lead Data Analyst is responsible for evaluating and the development of analysis, reporting, and insights using market/business sector trends and customer experience data. Under limited supervision, this job reviews insights from data analyses that ultimately inform business, product development and marketing decisions. This job also evaluates customer behavior data, customer classification and precision marketing, generating reports aimed at improving customer experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assesses market data by monitoring market conditions, trends, and competitors.
Evaluates opinion research and/or monitors and analyzes market trends in order to determine perceptions of brands/products, reactions to advertising, brand loyalty, and price sensitivity across customer segments.
Participating in quality assessment and improvement processes.
Reviews analysis and interpretation on market trends, competitor data, and customer data to identify areas of opportunity for increased marketing and advertising as well as potential for new product or service development.
Assesses analyses measuring results of proposed and/or actual performance of marketing campaigns against targets.
Inspects data visualizations and reports to display relevant statistics from analyses as needed.
Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals to enable them to perform their job requirements as directed by the organization.

Partnering with marketing and data teams to implement and promote a standardized measurement approaches (formalizing analytic methodology, approach & KPIs), create A/B tests, and report and review performances to ultimately inform business and marketing decisionsÂ
Build, develop and maintain marketing capabilities to deliver advanced data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support insights and testingÂ
Create dashboards and reporting to enable self-serve analytics within Domo/TableauÂ
Design and lead A/B testing throughout various marketing platformsÂ
Coordinates analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets to identify marketing/business sector trends
Coordinates analysis measuring results of proposed and/or actual performance of marketing campaigns against targetsÂ
Five plus years of experience in in analyzing marketing performance and comfort querying large data setsÂ
Five plus years of experience with Google Optimize, Google Analytics, and other marketing platformsÂ
Bachelorâs degree in relevant field required (finance, marketing, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics)Â
Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills with experience analyzing complex datasetsÂ Â
Experience working with SQL, Python, R programming languagesÂ
Potential Salary: $124,400.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.Â In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
