Lead Development Manager
The Lead Development Manager is responsible for managing the analysis, programming and configuration of IT Systems Software. This job advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation. Working with the leadership team, this job provides project leadership for software development activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation and development of team.
Monitors development work to make sure resulting software meets established goals.
Manages the identification of business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives for the IT System.
Manages the configuration, customization, diagnosis and enhancements of operating systems software.
Advises the development and implementation of new products, processes and operational plans.
Oversees training of users on new or modified software.

The Profitability Lead Manager will collaborate and manage a team across multiple groups, business units within a matrix organization. The candidate will have a clear understanding and the ability to translate cost/revenue allocation requirements and contribute to the solution design. The candidate will also mentor and share techno-functional insights with associates within the team and business units. Play a key role in techno-functional delivery of medium to moderately complex projects on-time, within-budget and with targeted zero defects. Contribute to planning, estimation, fit-gap analysis, scheduling, prioritization and coordination of functional requirements for Financial Performance Management system leveraging OFSAA Suite. Coordinate, support and drive discussions with functional team, business users, vendors, downstream applications to ensure end-to-end solution aligned to TIAA standards and a defined target state.
5 years of experience in Profitability and Cost Management Systems
5 years of hands on experience in OFSAA or similar systems
Experience using Oracle database internals
Decent knowledge in T2T, Data warehouse, Configuring rules and functional aspects of Cost/Revenue Management
Ability to lead diverse portfolio of financial and accounting applications, Influence onshore/offshore teams to achieve strategic goals, manage business relationships and showcase executive presence in a fast paced environment
Potential Salary: $155,610.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
