Nuveen Investments VP, Head of Nuveen Creative in Chicago, Illinois
This job leads the Nuveen Creative team, guides visual content creation, and directs design strategies across all marketing channels in alignment with brand identity. This job contributes to customization of marketing messages, media channels and strategies with the objective of maximizing brand voice and visual appeal. The job also manages experienced professionals who support the efforts of design and production to test and develop new concepts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Is an internal ambassador for the Nuveen brand, driving governance, standards and excitement around the brand promise.
Leads visual branding strategies of company public image, products and promotional materials across a variety of digital and print media.
Architects and implements the strategic design vision and direction that will ensure brand continuity expression across all consumer touch points, and coordinates all design aspects of brand identity development as it applies to visual communication.
Establishes policies, practices and procedures relating to creation and maintenance of graphics-specific templates, instructions, documentation, and best practices.
Contributes to the development of brand and product positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that align with target customer demographics for the company website, social media, publications, email, radio/TV, and face-to-face.
Guides the development and implementation of design strategies relating to advertising, informational webinars and blogs, direct marketing, public events, promotions and business customer relationship building, and builds third party vendor relationships.
Directs the development of marketing materials and ensures customer experience is in line with brand image.
Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of high quality content creation projects and engagement, motivation, and development of team.

Base Pay Range: $134,700/yr. - $224,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
