Info Security Architect
TIAA has an opportunity for an Info Security Architect. We are seeking a subject matter expert in cyber security who will partner in developing, designing, and implementing solutions. This position will collaborate with other resources across multiple disciplines and solutions to ensure that our security solutions are secure, interoperate, and enable the business to do what they do best within a controlled risk profile. We work in a hybrid-flex environment (i.e., three days in the office each week).
This position will help realize the organization's security architecture through the creation of new security designs and strategies. Additionally, this position will provide consultative support to multiple teams within the security organization and provide high-level technical expertise and insight. They are expected to maintain consistent knowledge of emerging trends and security best practices in the related technology space.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with stakeholders to execute on the strategic vision for the enterprise, leveraging security, managed solutions, and traditional capabilities.
Provide security designs for solutions and technologies in alignment with our enterprise architecture best-practices.
Help with requirements analysis for new systems as well as major updates of existing systems.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of roadmaps within the technology and architecture strategy.
Ensure design and architecture information is well-documented, up-to-date, and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
Assist in or lead the definition of systems solutions to fulfill the functional management of platforms, conforming to established system architecture standards and practices.
As a junior architect you will provide threat analysis consultation across the organization, both within the operating business unit and to Information Technology management and staff.
Assist with the identification and development of opportunities for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) strategies to optimize resource usage and reduce risk.
Maintain technical knowledge of security trends and emerging technologies to best inform secure design, architecture, and decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Information Technology or Cyber Security Engineering/Operations or a related area
Experience implementing or supporting cloud-based solutions.
Experience with Cyber Security architecture
Knowledge of NIST cyber security threats and/or vulnerabilities.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of the fundamentals and applicability of both generative AI and traditional AI capabilities.
Possess professional certification (i.e., CCSP, CISSP, CISM, etc.) or comparable certifications.
Familiarity with coding in Java and/or Python.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience utilizing development pipelines and automation (DevOps/DevSecOps)
Comfortable with delivering documents in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Base Pay Range: $74,200/yr - $118,200/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
