TIAA Lead Information Security Analyst - RFP/Client Engagement in Dallas, Texas

The Lead Information Security Analyst will lead responses to client requests for information about TIAA’s cybersecurity organization and will align to Cybersecurity’s Awareness and Training team. Client requests may include, but are not limited to, cybersecurity-related segments of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), coordination of speaker requests for formal client presentations, requests for formally produced content about TIAA’s Cybersecurity program, and other client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitoring and leading response to client requests for information about TIAA’s cybersecurity program. Requests may include, but are not limited to, cybersecurity-related segments of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), coordination of speaker requests for formal client presentations, requests for formally produced content about TIAA’s Cybersecurity program, and other client inquiries. Requests may also stem from Plan Consultants that represent clients.

  • Capturing, understanding, and responding to written inquiries (RFPs, DDQs, emails) using accurate and approved content regarding TIAA’s cybersecurity program. Content is managed in an RFP database. Where approved answers for inquiries are not available, engage department subject matter experts to develop new answers and engage necessary stakeholders for answer review and approval.

  • Engaging TIAA’s client-facing representatives to capture complete request details and to negotiate response timelines.

  • Manage cybersecurity-related content in TIAA’s RFP database. Ensure database content is reviewed per expert review schedule, continually updated and improved for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, and expanded when appropriate.

  • Manage out inefficiencies such as redundancies, obsolete questions and answers, and inaccurate categorization.

  • Coordinate cybersecurity speaking engagements, based on client requests. Support the creation and approval of associated content.

  • Manage and track request completion to ensure on-time delivery. Manage timelines with stakeholders, as needed.

  • Support any related Client Response process improvements including, but not limited to, implementing automation, uplifting Standard Operating Procedures, and enhancing metrics and reporting.

  • Complete monthly metrics to report to Cybersecurity’s leadership team and associated stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience managing RFP responses and/or client-facing content

  • 5+ years' experience managing RFP content databases

  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Services

  • Experience in Cybersecurity

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, industry and terminology

  • Ability to prioritize across numerous demands

  • Ability to negotiate timelines with client-facing representatives

  • Ability to engage stakeholders at various levels of the organization

Base Pay Range: $101,800/yr. - $169,700/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
