TIAA Technical Lead - Cybersecurity Integration in Dallas, Texas

Technical Lead

The Tech Lead will provide technical leadership in the end to end strategy, design, development and delivery of integration activities for Cybersecurity applications, products and services. Responsible for meeting integration schedules and delivering high quality solutions that meet both the enterprise cybersecurity standards as well as business requirements. Leads all phases of integration activities including the design, plan, proof of concept, build and test phases for Cybersecurity. Responsible for engaging with subsidiary and affiliates partners to deliver on integration activities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand the technical and business roadmap for Cybersecurity controls and partner with Cybersecurity control owners, architects and engineers to develop integration plans and deliverables.

• Partner with subsidiary and affiliates stakeholders to understand current Cybersecurity controls of the subsidiary/affiliate and to develop integration plans.

• Oversee all aspects of Cybersecurity integration activities including the design, plan, proof of concept, build and test phases.

• Recommends integration solutions to Senior Leadership and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.

• Develops repeatable processes and procedures for Cybersecurity integration activities.

• Liaises with Senior Leadership on integration activities, operational, and strategy risks and opportunities, along with corrective action plans when required.

• Manages delivery on all project and operational commitments, including quality and timeliness metrics.

• Coaches, mentors and delegates work to lower level professionals.

  • 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred

  • University (Degree), Preferred

Required Skills

  • Experience with leading or developing plans to support technology integration efforts

  • Experience delivering technology projects and overseeing the project end to end

  • 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity/Information Technology

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and executives

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cybersecurity and IT controls including identity and access management capabilities, data loss prevention solutions, vulnerability management, and intrusion detection/intrusion prevention technologies

  • Prior experience providing consulting or architectural reviews during IT or information security related projects and initiatives

  • Prior experience with building and maintaining relationships with third parties such as vendors, subsidiaries, or affiliates

  • Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in clearly communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences in business terminology.

  • Must be proactive and have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and remote teams.

  • Able to learn quickly and independently and apply new tools and techniques

  • Strong business relationship management, risk tracking, and business-focused risk remediation guidance

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.)

Potential Salary: $142,100.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
