TIAA NextGen Sr. Systems Analyst in Denver, Colorado
The Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes business and information needs in order to design optimal systems solutions. Working under minimal supervision, this job designs system solutions that are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. This job also recommends improvements to the existing IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirement gathering, and defines scope and objectives of each project.
Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
Translates business requirements into application requirements, and works with all members of the team to execute the application successfully.
Engages client teams and explains moderately complex initiatives in an understandable manner, while also addressing any hesitations or concerns from the client.
Estimates the costs of various system solutions and prepares project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.

NextGen Senior Systems Analysts (SSAs ) work as a member of a team responsible for resolving Plan Sponsor and Participant level system issues.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
NextGen SSAs work side by side with key business and technical stakeholders through the complete remediation lifecycle from issue discovery to solution implementation. SSAs complete extensive data analysis in order to recommend solutions for client level remediation. SSAs elicit solution business requirements, drive solution design, and ensure the solution meets the needs of the business. SSAs also develop internal systems and automated counter remediation tools used to proactively identify issues, and fix them before they lead to a remediation. This position is unique in that it requires interaction with and understanding of a broad range of business areas throughout the organization. Depending on the process and/or program involved, the SSA supports and must understand many different business areas such as: Product, Production Support, Client Transition, Operations, Middle Office, National Contact Center, Communications, Technology, Legal, Compliance and other areas based on the remediation requirements.
Bachelor's Degree Required
3 to 5 years of Remediation Experience
3 to 5 Years Pension Recordkeeping Experience
Extracting Data and working with large data sets
Conduct data and root cause analysis; identifying risks and provide summary level explanation of identified issues.
Extensive MS Office skills including Excel – V lookup, Pivot Tables
7 years extensive Remediation experience
Subject matter expertise in pension record keeping and TIAA systems including Omni, MVAS/STAC, OSS Refactor.
Familiar with Python, Impala, Teradata, Mongo and Oracle SQL Developer.
PowerPoint presentation design and delivery on solution plans to stakeholders sand business partners
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication and resolution ability
Knowledgeable of TIAA Products and Services
Potential Salary: $102,000.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
