Retirement Plan Ops

The Retirement Plan Operations job delivers comprehensive services to retirement clients. While managing large projects with limited oversight, this job is responsible for reviewing reports and analysis related to the investment and management of capital on behalf of clients and/or the organization itself.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assesses fund performance data and resolves administrative problems.

  • Creates models using analytics data and follows up with other functional departments to answer ad-hoc Retirement client queries on a wide variety of investment, operational, compliance and regulatory topics.

  • Oversees the implementation of support strategies to best serve existing clients.

  • Manages audits for weekly, monthly and quarterly valuation reports delivered to clients.

  • Authorizes and reviews that all individual trades and accounts have been reviewed and verified.

  • Supervises and provides recommendations on escalated cases to maintain solid relationships with retirement clients.

  • Coaches, mentors and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Additional Job Description:

  • Act as an operational liaison to support TCR Strategic Client and Healthcare teams

  • Manage the workflow intake process and address inquiries, escalations, and transactional research items related to Individual & Institutional Operations

  • Provide guidance and/or assistance on recordkeeping and operational procedures

  • Assist in bringing TCR with other areas of the business to resolve issues

  • Identify trends and work with business partners to assist them in proactively addressing process or training needs

  • Provide reports and data, only if readily available to Liaison (ex. NIGO report, Operations Metrics, etc.)

  • Assist CRC/WMA with escalated inquiries and/or brokerage related issues

  • Assist with implementation request for onboarding issues

  • Develop an understanding of business partner (TCR) strategy and gain alignment accordingly

  • Assist with TCR strategies when aligned with Operations

  • Support all analysts with identifying trends and process improvements

  • Oversight of manual FRMD service, Lookback Period, and VCP remediation

  • Additionally, perform day to day business manager functions including assisting with team strategy, vision, storytelling through presentations and deck creations, etc.

Base Pay Range: $90,000/yr. - $150,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
