The Enrollment Specialist will interact with prospects and new entrants concerning TIAA products and services. They will assist the team by focusing their efforts on enrolling participants with TIAA, as well as other financial products and services that TIAA offers. They will focus on growth in market share as well as provide a distinctive customer experience that is executed with accuracy. The Enrollment Specialist will work a variety of schedules including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends. There will be additional work during peak periods and will travel regularly, including overnight travel. This role requires weekly travel to Ann Arbor and frequent travel throughout the Greater Detroit area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Takes the lead in providing education on Employer Sponsored Plans as wellas other financial solutions, excluding brokerage products
Participates in benefits fairs, new hire orientations and leads planenrollment seminars in order to increase participation in TIAA product andservice offerings
Interacts with participants and their representatives in-person (in the officeand at the institution) by telephone, email, and written correspondence
Supports relationships with key institutional representatives
Supports Financial Consultants in meeting asset growth and customerexperience expectations by partnering for referral of newly enrolledparticipants
The rolerequires a high level of comfort in engagement with external participants andplan contacts
Prospectfor new participants by making outbound contacts, self-sourcing and followingup on leads
This rolewill require the applicant to have a working knowledge of retirement plans,pretax and post-tax investments products, general financial services productknowledge and regulatory knowledge. Individual plan rules and requirements willbe a training area for this role
FINRA Series 6 and 63 Registered Representative and StateInsurance Licensing within 120 days of hire
Valid US Driver’s license and transportationrequired for travel
2-3 years of financial services experience; sales experience a plus
Provenwritten, verbal and presentation skills to large audiences
