TIAA Sr. Manager, Communications Consultant in Frisco, Texas

Sr. Manager, Communications

The Sr. Manager, Communications Consultant role works in tandem with Relationship Managers to retain and grow plan sponsor relationships and reinforce the value of TIAA’s retirement program. By using plan data, along with analysis and insights from campaigns, the Sr. Manager proactively identifies opportunities to drive stronger participant education and achieve plan sponsor, participant, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as Marketing and Communication SME for assigned Top 200 clients.

  • Create and deliver, in-person or virtually, the annual communication strategy to assigned clients using Plan Outcome Assessment and other business metrics; reinforce TIAA Essentials as the foundation for achieving positive retirement outcomes.

  • Proactively propose communication solutions for existing clients using the self-service platform, webinar offer and other templates to address client-specific communication needs.

  • Understand each assigned client’s plan design, services adoption, and priorities to maximize communication strategies.

  • Audit client enrollment process annually to identify opportunities for increased enrollments and contributions, as well as drive employees to advice.

  • Provide client-specific reporting on Essentials by TIAA outcomes, as well as custom campaigns or other engagement tactics, to demonstrate program effectiveness and reinforce the value of the TIAA offer.

  • Continually demonstrate the value of TIAA’s services and products through regular client meetings, monthly updates, and special projects.

  • Identify areas for improvement to enhance the effectiveness of communications and its ability to execute on business objectives.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

Required:

  • 3+ years of work experience as a Communications Consultant, Relationship Manager, or similar role within Marketing.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of work experience as a Communications Consultant, Relationship Manager, or similar role within Marketing.

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field.

  • 5+ years of related work experience, with strong client facing experience and executive presence (B2B preferred).

  • Ability to consult with clients and influence thinking, strategic and conceptual thinking, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with the 403(b)-recordkeeping business.

  • Familiarity with project management, advertising/compliance review software, and customer relationship management platforms preferred.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $99,900/yr. - $150,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
