Nuveen Investments CW - Sr. Testing Analyst in Iselin, New Jersey
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAAâs family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role is located onsite at our TIAA office in Iselin, NJ, USA but will currently be remote.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 7 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

Position Title: Sr Testing Analyst  Â

SUMMARY: The Sr Testing Analyst will sit within Nuveenâs Data Strategy Technology team â a group of cross skilled technology professionals that partners with Nuveenâs Data Management Business Unit. This position will focus on validating the various applications within the data strategy program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Â The following duties are generally representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
Execute functional testing, integration testing and regression testing (manual and automated)
Test planning, developing test cases/test scripts, test execution, error reporting, analysis and error verification
Diagnose, analyze and solve application and data issues.
Providing test reports and documenting problems found, steps to reproduce in the issue tracking tool and team site

Required Skills:
Bachelorâs degree from an accredited university
7+ years of relevant work experience
Experience with automated testing tools and methods
Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results
4+ years or experience in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
Experience in Capital Markets and Asset/Wealth Management Industry.
Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Solid technology background, including an understanding of technology-governance frameworks, and applications used in financial services
Preferred Skills:
Responsive and proactive in answering questions
Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as OBIEE, Tableau or Power BI.
Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence preferred

Potential Salary:
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
