TIAA Lead Business Systems Analysis Manager - Retirement in Ithaca, New York
The Lead Business Systems Analysis Manager supervises the analysis of business and information needs in order to design optimal systems solutions. Working with limited oversight, this job reviews that designed system solutions are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. This job is responsible for managing large projects and processes, while also coordinating efforts among the Business Systems team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Supervises team members responsible for solutions for information technology (IT) and business management concerning the application of technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
Translates business requirements into application requirements, while working with all members of the team to execute the application successfully.
Reviews cost estimates of various system solutions and reviews project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary.
Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and development of team.

5 or more years of experience as IT Business Analyst or Systems analyst
Experience as a Agile Product Owner or Product Manager
Preferred Skills:
Retirement Services Industry experience
Experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align
SAFe certification
Ability to multi-task effectively across several assignments
Ability to consider both short and long term business needs and IT impacts when developing solution
Proven leadership abilities including ability to share knowledge, resolve conflicts, and create consensus
Ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences
Base Pay Range: $102,200/yr. - $170,300/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
