TIAA Bank IT Manager - Platform Engineering in Jacksonville, Florida
The IT Manager manages all processes, operations and teams within the Information Technology department. This job participates in determining the Information Technology needs of an organization and is responsible for managing a team that implements solutions to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manages and monitors the successful delivery of Information Technology services for the organization’s hardware, software and network technologies.
Maintains Information Technology teams and systems to ensure that the area's technological level is up to date by implementing new procedures and techniques related to Information Technology.
Provides input into the teams project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
Completes cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization’s IT roadmap.
Sets Information Technology goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred
University (Degree), Preferred
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work
5 or more years of Linux and Windows operating system experience.
3 or more years of container based platforms experience i.e: OpenShift.
3 or more years of API Management platforms experience i.e. Mulesoft, Kong.
Good verbal and written Skills.
Potential Salary: $146,475.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
