Lead Program Manager IT

The Program and Project Management job plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Under minimal supervision, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large projects for the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organizes project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.

  • Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met.

  • Implements an established project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan.

  • Monitors the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.

  • Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.

  • Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.

  • Coordinates the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

The Lead Infrastructure Controls Analyst will be responsible for GIS Controls operation strategy, governance, and end-to-end processes - inclusive of the Technology End of Life Management (EoL) Program – working with application system managers and infrastructure platform owners, and relevant stakeholders. This individual understands the business, industry, and the role IT has in driving technology and operational risk management to mitigate and remediate EoL by systems and asset class.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the mitigation and remediation of EoL by system managers and platform owners.

  • Lead day-to-day technical/functional operation, making decisions on tactical issues that impact EOL and overall business.

  • Established / lead EOL program governance by managing EoL end-to-end processes.

  • Collaborate with working groups, system managers, and platform owners, and communication with stakeholders to disposition and prioritize.

  • Coordinate EoL program interdependencies by assessing EoL program maturity and maintaining EoL roadmap.

  • Assist system managers and platform owners with escalations; management reporting.

  • Report /communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, and leadership team, including performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years total of EOL and / or Asset Management Lifecycle experience

  • 5+ years of technology program management experience in large, cross-organizational projects, prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines is required.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with the ability to create empowered teams including knowledge sharing, documentation, timeliness and proactive planning

  • 5+ years of experience in communicating and preparing presentations and reporting out to senior leaders and higher level professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technology EoL management

  • Knowledge of IT framework, best practices, policies and regulations

  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead projects with excellent influencing and problem resolution skills

  • Ability to collaborate across the lines of business including first line control owners, Risk, Audit, etc.

Potential Salary: $146,580.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
