TIAA Risk Advisor in Jacksonville, Florida
As a part of TIAA’s Financial Solutions business, TIAA Bank, a division of TIAA, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.
Risk Advisor
The Risk Advisor is responsible for providing high-level support to assigned management in the form of due diligence and financial analysis of clients/applicants, underwriting support, cash flow analysis, projections, and risk identification.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Provide timely assessment of financial and quality/credit measurements for client applications, annual recertification, and on-going reviews through the preparation and analysis of timely financial spreads, trend analysis, detailed quality control analysis, industry analysis, and identification of risks and mitigants.
Maintain and update financial, tracking, and reporting systems of decisions and exceptions with necessary approval for due diligence.
Prepare presentations of decisions and exceptions for Executive Committee; grow into facilitation role.
Assist in analysis and process improvement initiatives within the line of business.

Prior risk management experience as well as large scale vendor management experience
Experience with financial spreading software (ex. Moodys, Baker Hill or Fiscal
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
CPA or Six Sigma Certification a plus
Good negotiation & communication skills (written & orally)
