Manages and executes internal reviews of Risk Management’s work, including Enterprise Quality Control and Commercial Loan Review, to ensure it is conducted in accordance with standards, programs, policy and procedures, and to a level of depth and detail that is consistent with quality standards.
The incumbent will drive accuracy and consistency across all groups in documentation and process execution, aligning with program standards, investor and regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.
Serveas a Subject Matter Expert and resource on EQC and Risk Management programs,standards, policies and procedures.
Performhorizontal reviews across the department for conformance with standards.
Performin-depth file reviews for performance by evaluating content, conclusions andconformance with standards.
Performreal-time reviews related to quality assurance and reporting activities.
Manageand report individual review results as well as trends across the departmentand to senior management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
In-depthknowledge and application of department processes, procedures, programs andstandards.
Well-versedin the Agency and investor requirements for EQC testing and reporting.
Abilityto synthesize data into clear and concise communications.
Excellentanalytical ability (qualitative and quantitative) to draw conclusions.
Stronginterpersonal and relationship building skills.
Demonstratedskills in negotiating issues and resolving problems.
Excellentattention to detail and organizational skills.
Abilityto manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain composure under pressure while meeting multipledeadlines.
Demonstrated knowledge and proper application ofsampling techniques.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Finance, Accounting, and/or Business) required.
Three + years of relevant work experience required.
Financial Services Industry experience required.
Internal Audit experience and extensive work paper review preferred.
Previous experience in quality assessment reviews preferred.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite required.
