Senior Data Lead Manager

The Senior Lead Data Governance/Stewardship Manager will have deep knowledge of the business processes and supporting data, the Senior Lead Data Governance/Stewardship Manager will work within their area to execute on the Data Management and Data Governance strategy in an effort to manage the enterprise data asset in a manner that maximizes value to the company. Additionally, they will collaborate with other Data Stewards as well as other Business Areas and IT to drive consistency of data management capabilities, ensure data content is fit for use, align data across the enterprise, resolve issues, and provide input into compliance, monitoring and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Management of Data Governance/Stewardship activities in assigned area/domains

  • Management of Data Governance/Stewardship Team members and projects

  • Identifying, sizing and prioritizing data governance/stewardship issues

  • Assessing the scope and resources required for operationalizing data governance/stewardship

  • Monitoring and communicating key performance metrics and operational challenges related to data governance/stewardship.

  • Develops and presents materials to socialize the impact of data governance/stewardship across TIAA


  • 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred

  • University (Degree), Preferred

Potential Salary: $174,300.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
