TIAA Bank Trust Compliance Sr Associate in Jacksonville, Florida
The Trust Compliance Senior Associate supports the TIAA, FSB Trust and Investments Compliance Program in order to ensure organizational functions are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies and to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper business practices within the organization. This job focuses the processes to identify, investigate, analyze, report, and resolve compliance risks. As a member of the Trust Compliance Team, the Trust Compliance Senior Associate will engage with multiple levels of Trust and Investment management and associates to monitor, test and assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of operational controls. This team and role is also responsible for reviewing and updating applicable policies and procedures, which also affords the opportunity to evaluate the design of certain processes and controls. The successful candidate will also attend a variety of Trust and Investment committee meetings for the purpose of providing critical challenge and advisory support to the lines of business. In addition to these business oversight activities, the Trust Compliance Senior Associate will support the core Compliance responsibilities of TIAA, FSB as they pertain to the Trust and Investments Divisions, including the annual Enterprise Compliance Risk Assessment, evaluation and assignment of training, issue escalation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Perform compliance monitoring, testing and/or risk assessments, as applicable, to identify compliance issues, concerns, and deficiencies.
• Provide detailed and accurate documentation of monitoring, testing and other oversight activities, including risk assessments.
• In coordination with the Compliance Officer, design and support the implementation of corrective action plans to resolve problematic compliance issues and to ensure that compliance deficiencies are corrected.
• Implement preventative measures and compliance processes in furtherance of business unit compliance programs.

Qualifications:
Required:
- 3 years' experience in the financial services industry, personal and institutional trust, and/or compliance for such industries, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Preferred:
5-7 years' experience in the financial services industry, personal and institutional trust, and/or compliance for such industries, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Investment management, corporate trustee, and/or general financial services oversight experience
Drafting test scripts and/or narrative test reports
Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Strong writing and communication skills
Detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively multi-task
Ability to present to multiple levels of the organization
Potential Salary: $95,200.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
