TIAA Bank Ops Specialist II in Lewisville, Texas

As a part of TIAA’s Financial Solutions business, TIAA Bank, a division of TIAA, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.

Banking Ops Specialist II

The Banking Ops Specialist II supports routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking. Under moderate supervision, this job performs administrative/transactional banking tasks such as assisting with service transactions, supporting multi-channel inbound referrals, verifying daily proofs and processing payments that sometimes require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answers service and referral calls and responds to customer questions and assists with service transactions.

  • Verifies that daily proofs and reconciliations are compliant with corporate accounting and control policies.

  • Validates accuracy of payments, tickets and online entries.

  • Provides solutions to customer, branch or bank inquiries and escalates issues as necessary.

  • Considers multiple resources and records when investigating customer inquiries.

  • Enters transactions into CRT/PC and balances general ledger accounts.

  • Ensures work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.

  • Assists with subject matter expert project as requested.

Banking Ops Specialist II

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintains the organization's hardcopy of documentation in commercial loan files.

  • Completes transfers and loan payments for customers.

  • Performs basic loan processing research in response to loan officer and customer questions.

  • Organizes documents and correspondence in the proper credit files.

Qualifications

  • No Experience Required; 2 Years Preferred

  • High School, Preferred

Required:

Banking or banking back office operations experience

Preferred:

2+ years’ experience in banking back-office operations

Bank exceptions knowledge

General knowledge of estate and trust documentation

Deceased processing knowledge related to deceased account owners

Experience with IRA accounts, include IRA distributions, contributions, beneficiary changes, ACH reclamations

Minimum Pay: $14.71
