TIAA Director, Performance Management in Lewisville, Texas

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Talent Management

Designs, implements, monitors and supports staff development and career planning strategies, procedures and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Designing staff development and career planning programs, and ensuring senior managers and Training and Development (T&D) staff understand the purposes and methods of these programs.

  • Monitoring and analyzing T&D practices and processes to determine their efficiency and effectiveness; recommending areas of improvement to achieve and deliver higher quality services.

  • Maintaining effective internal communications between business unit managers and T&D staff to discuss the changes that will impact T&D design, development or program delivery.

  • Determining external clients' T&D needs and helping them achieve their objectives.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation of the enterprise performance management process, business-as-usual performance process and intern performance management, executive committee performance management and enterprise scorecard processes; identify and implement needed changes to improve performance management processes overall.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to manage existing differences and drive alignment of performance management, development planning, and scorecard processes and practices across TIAA, TIAA Bank, TIAA India, and Nuveen.

  • Partner to research and develop the future state vision and long-term plan for areas of responsibility, make critical decisions about the direction and approach and influence stakeholders in Talent Management, Human Resources, and the business to drive best in class talent management processes to support achievement of the business’s vision, mission, goals and values.

Required:

  • 5+ years of human resources experience, performance management consulting experience and/or experience designing and executing performance management processes

Desired:

  • 5+ years of talent management experience in a complex organizational environment

  • Bachelors degree

  • Experience designing and executing performance management processes

  • Experience developing end-to-end change plans and project plans and effectively manage timelines and resources

Potential Salary: $162,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
