Quantitative Analyst

Architect and influence the direction of quantitative research. Partnering with Portfolio Managers, key stakeholders and technology, to lead in the identification, planning, and prioritization processes that will drive high-level functional concepts from road maps through proof-of-concepts to production. This role will be engaged in the research associated with quantitative and qualitative strategies that span global public markets dealing with equity and responsible investment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Research new ideas to enhance existing quantitative multi-factor stock selection models.

  • Manage and enhance the quantitative investment infrastructure.

  • Work with senior analysts to develop additional quantitative and analytical tools to enhance security selection and portfolio management.

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis used in the determination of potential investment opportunities.

  • Work with Portfolio Managers to enhance all facets of their strategies from alpha models, risk management, portfolio construction, performance attribution and reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science (math/science/engineering) or social sciences (finance/economics)

  • Advanced knowledge of equity financial markets and quantitative techniques

  • High degree of Technical ability

  • 5 + years of public equity experience

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Prefer CFA or CFA candidate, or other investment related credential

  • Familiarity with a programming language (VBA, SAS, Python, R, etc.)

  • Self-motivated with strong project management and analytical capabilities

  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets used to make investment decisions

  • Familiarity with macro factors that impact the public equity markets and strategies of how to time those factors

  • Experience with NLP/AI or and/or utilizing other non-structured data

Minimum Pay: $121,860.00
