Senior Investment Performance Analytics Analyst

Evaluates all performance criteria and risk of funds to uncover potential problems.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs calculations, tracking of cash flows, and risk exposure analyses for portfolio products.

  • Prepares and displays charts, graphs, and tables reflecting monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance of funds.

  • Maintains and organizes all investment-related data.

  • Monitors existing investments and portfolio products.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in supporting reporting needs for investment performance, attribution, characteristics and risk statistics.

  • Experience in maintain performance measurement system for calculation of portfolio and composites returns and statistics.

  • Experience in troubleshoot and explain the performance results and remediate errors.

  • Experience with Global Investment Performance Standard (GIPS) requirements.

  • Experience Developing, automating, and enhancing performance reports.

Preferred Skills:

  • CIPM or CFA candidate preferred

  • General knowledge of investment performance concepts including calculation, attribution, risk statistics and GIPS.

  • General knowledge of investments as applied to Mutual Funds, Institutional, Wrap and Collective Investment Trusts.

  • Third party data knowledge of Eagle Pace and Morning Star.

  • Exhibited skills in problem identification and problem resolution

  • Effective with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Experience utilizing desktop automation tools (VBA Excel/Access) a plus

  • Experience with SQL queries a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree

Potential Salary: $102,800.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
