Nuveen Investments Analyst, Capital Markets in New York, New York

Analyst, Capital Markets job supports the reduction of the affiliate's cost of capital through optimal capital markets execution across two core strategies: pooled asset-backed securities (ABS) issuance and single asset placements of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) bonds. This role supports the Capital Markets team in their ability to act as an external face for the affiliate in the capital markets and produces related analyses and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with all facets of the capital markets activity.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects.

  • Manage due diligence requests by transaction counterparties including lenders, partners, investors, rating agencies, trustees, and counsel.

  • Coordinate investor meetings and conference calls.

  • Build and maintain data tapes and comforting procedures for public and private securitizations.

  • Assist in building financial models for C-PACE securitizations and single-asset sales.

  • Prepare investor materials, presentations, term sheets, and other legal/marketing materials as needed.

  • Manage access to deal-related information through data rooms.

  • Lead NGC’s standard NDA tracking and negotiations process.

  • Support interest rate risk management (rates tracking, execution of trade documents, facilitation of hedge reporting in Salesforce)

  • Manage ongoing rating agency confirmation reporting for securitizations.

  • Strong verbal and written communications

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proficient in Salesforce

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $49,500/yr. - $82,500/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
