Key Responsibilities and Duties
Liaise with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Credit Research Team to maintain appropriate compliance levels.
Act as the primary contact for trustees and custodians on all operational issues relating to CLOs.
Modeling and calculating waterfalls, shadow trustee on waterfall review.
Review monthly compliance report with trustee to ensure accuracy as outlined in the governing documents.
Shadow CLO trustee on monthly report reconciliation process.
Continuous improvement mindset to capitalize on straight through processing, speed and accuracy of systems and procedures; communicate in functional teams to complete daily tasks, share market and systems knowledge, and preserve and grow strong trading relationships with internal/external customers.
Liaison across teams on projects and deliverables.
Assist with onboarding and setup of legal entities with external counterparties.
Provide PM with daily cash balances and resolve any cash discrepancies.

Nuveen is seeking a Lead, Structured Credit Reporting to support the Leveraged Finance platform, comprising $40 billion of AUM and a broad offering of below investment grade credit capabilities, including traditional public credit (Loans and High Yield), structured credit/CLOs, and hedged credit (Long-Short, Convert Arb and Distressed). The individual is responsible for all aspects of the SPV lifecycle from warehouse formation to the dissolution of the CLO. The position will be working closely with legal, portfolio managers, trading desks, and investment operations to ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of reports to our investors. This position reports directly to the Head of Structured Credit Reporting.
Required Skills:
3 or more years of experience in a Structured Product Operations role.
Proficient utilization of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
Experience with Order Management, Trade Processing, and Bank Loan Systems: (Clear Par, Wall Street Office, Lend Amend, Bloomberg).
Experience with CLO documentation, and key testing metrics.
Preferred Skills:
BS/BA Degree.
Thorough knowledge of the syndicated bank loan market, CLOs, 40 Act funds, SMAs, structured products.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to understand complex workflows.
Strong operational risks and controls.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, poised under pressure, and customer service skills are necessary attributes to succeed in role.
Team player, detail oriented, self-starter with a high level of energy, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

Base Pay Range: $83,790/yr. - $130,200/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
