KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Performing tasks and coordinating with outside counsel.
Preparing legal documents and conducting legal meetings.
Investigating and analyzing claims and legal issues.
Generating required reports from department databases.

This position is open across the U.S. with preferred location in New York.
This role supports work of attorneys in the Global Employment & Benefits Law (GEBL) group which provides legal services related to workforce issues, including advice and counsel and managing regulatory and litigation matters.
Participates on projects and initiatives, primarily in support of Human Resources and Law & Policy; Assigned work on an end to end project basis.
Performs monitoring, review and evaluation of ongoing operational excellence efforts of the GEBL group. May monitor and analyze legislative/regulatory developments impacting the company’s workforce.
- 3 years of experience working with employment law issues in a legal, human resources or compliance role.
5 years of experience working on employment law matters and related human resources and compliance matters in financial services
Knowledge of financial services, its regulatory environment and compensation structures preferred
Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resources or JD
Strong research and report-generating skills.
Minimum Pay: $37.31
