AI Governance and Risk Analyst

In this role, the AI Governance and Risk Analyst will be responsible for participating in the design and deployment of the AI governance framework, including Responsible AI Policy, Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guidelines. The individual will participate in the resolution of process gaps and design solutions to problems that prevent TIAA from enabling AI solutions at scale. The AI Governance and Risk Analyst will play a key role in ensuring submitted use cases adhere to Responsible AI requirements and that necessary control partners are engaged to review.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Participate in development and implementation of AI governance framework.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of controls to address AI risk

  • Facilitate risk assessments for AI engagements to the Responsible use of AI capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI governance principles in existing processes and procedures.

  • Stay abreast of global AI governance trends, regulations, and best practices.

  • Provide training, guidance, and communications to staff on AI governance matters.

  • Maintain AI COE process and procedure documentation

Educational Requirements

  • Vocational and/or Technical Education Preferred

Position Summary: Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job

Within the Enterprise AI Center of Excellence (AI COE), the AI Governance and Risk Analyst is responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of the AI governance framework for TIAA and its affiliates. This AI Governance and Risk Analyst is required to partner with stakeholders across disciplines to design and deliver process, procedures, and control improvements that enable TIAA to leverage AI responsibly to drive business value and adoption.

In this role, the AI Governance and Risk Analyst will be responsible for participating in the design and deployment of the AI governance framework, including Responsible AI Policy, Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guidelines. The individual will participate in the resolution of process gaps and design solutions to problems that prevent TIAA from enabling AI solutions at scale. The AI Governance and Risk Analyst will play a key role in ensuring submitted use cases adhere to Responsible AI requirements and that necessary control partners are engaged to review.

Key Duties & Responsibilities : List up to 5 key duties and responsibilities, management responsibilities and time spent (if applicable)

  • Participate in development and implementation of AI governance framework.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of controls to address AI risk
