The role is involved in the full life cycle of an application and work closely with clients and team members to understand the stakeholder requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
They possess an understanding of CI/CD processes and are responsible for the design and implementation of applications’ build, release, deployment, containerization and configuration control and management.
Other responsibilities include working with partners to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implementing/updating solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews, managing operations, and training and fixing operational issues.

Position Summary: Reporting to the AI COE/CTL lead, the ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development and deployment of cloud-native applications, with expertise in microservices architecture, design patterns, and cloud deployment patterns. This role combines full-stack development capabilities with strong architectural knowledge to design, implement, and maintain scalable applications while creating and maintaining technical documentation and architectural artifacts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Application Development & Architecture
Design and implement microservices-based architectures using modern frameworks
Apply object-oriented and functional programming paradigms
Implement industry-standard design patterns and best practices
Create and maintain technical architecture artifacts and documentation
Develop full-stack applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python
Design and optimize data structures and algorithms for application performance
Cloud Architecture & Deployment
Design and implement cloud application deployment patterns
Create and maintain cloud infrastructure as code
Implement microservices communication patterns and API gateways
Establish service mesh and containerization strategies
Configure monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
Technical Documentation & Architecture
Create and maintain technical architecture diagrams
Document system design decisions and rationales
Develop API specifications and interface contracts
Maintain solution architecture artifacts
Create deployment and operation runbooks
Development & Implementation
Write clean, maintainable code using OOP and functional programming principles
Implement design patterns appropriate for different use cases
Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Perform code reviews and architectural assessments
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance on architecture decisions
Collaborate with solution architects on design patterns
Mentor team members on best practices and patterns
Participate in architecture review boards
Lead technical design discussions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5-7 years of professional software development experience
Strong understanding of:
Microservices architecture patterns
Object-oriented programming principles
Functional programming concepts
Common design patterns (GoF patterns)
Cloud deployment patterns
Distributed systems architecture
Technical documentation standards
Technical Skills Requirements:
Experience in creating architectural artifacts using standard notation (UML, C4 model)
Proficiency in both object-oriented and functional programming
Strong knowledge of microservices design patterns
Experience with cloud-native application development
Expertise in:
Design patterns implementation
API design and development
Cloud deployment strategies
Technical documentation tools
Architecture modeling tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
Experience with different architectural styles (Event-driven, CQRS, DDD)
Published technical documentation or architecture papers
Experience leading architecture decisions in enterprise environments
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellence in technical documentation and communication
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to various audiences
Leadership in architectural decision-making
Strong collaboration skills with architects and developers
