Commercial Bank Operations Specialist Senior
Performs routine administrative tasks in support of commercial banking and business loan processing functions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Maintains the organization's hardcopy of documentation in commercial loan files.
Completes transfers and loan payments for customers.
Performs basic loan processing research in response to loan officer and customer questions.
Organizes documents and correspondence in the proper credit files.

This position ensures efficient and accurate servicing of affiliate Construction Escrow Agent (CEA) accounts and commercial real estate loans. Servicing activities include but are not limited to: construction escrow agent administration, resolving client inquiries, supporting internal and external audits, and participating in department and system projects. This position may also assist with the construction administration of the CRE Commercial Construction loans, CRA Construction Loans and Participations/Syndication Construction loans.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for providing construction escrow agent administration, including familiarity with construction escrow agreement content and requirements, responding to client requests, tracking and reporting activity, and metrics preparation.
Review and process time sensitive disbursement request related to affiliate transactions where TIAA, FSB is acting as the construction escrow agent.
Backs up other unit positions including assisting Commercial Construction Loan Administrator with CRE Commercial Construction loans, CRA Constructions loans and Participation/Syndication Construction loan activities as needed.
Participate in special projects and assignments as needed
2 or more years of commercial/construction loan servicing or relevant financial services industry experience preferred
Knowledge of commercial construction documentation
Mortgage industry experience
Strong Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Effective time management skills
Ability to use independent discretion and take ownership in problem resolution
Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline or equivalent preferred
Potential Salary: $24.33 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
