CLO Database Analyst
CLO Analyst is the data and analytics resource for investor requests and internal audiences.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assist senior CLO team members with CLO management activities as needed
Work closely with CLO team, IT and Operations team in order to develop, streamline and maintain workflows/processes for expanding our CLO data and analytics capabilities
Support responses to CLO investor queries and other client deliverables, including DDQs, RFPs, manager commentaries, etc., in a timely manner
Oversight and updating of investor due diligence data rooms
Educational Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY:
Nuveen Leveraged Finance is seeking a CLO Generalist to support the ongoing growth of our CLO platform. The ideal candidate should have a keen understanding of CLOs, asset backed securities (ABS) and other securitized products, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate will work within the Capital Markets and Structuring Team and their responsibilities will include:
Assisting other members of the CLO team with CLO capital markets and structuring activity as needed including:
Executing all types of primary CLO transactions
Managing and keeping track of transaction expenses
Continuously maintain a pipeline and roadmap for CLO issuance
Assist with post-transaction fund management including tracking deal metrics
Working closely with bank structuring desks and the various other deal parties on the entire transaction execution from cashflow model, documentation drafting and rating agency process
Staying informed on latest CLO document trends and structural innovations in the CLO market
Communicating with rating agencies, investors, counsel, arrangers on modeling and transaction execution
Utilizing and developing analytical tools and models to analyze and optimize our CLO funds
Overall marketing of the CLO platform including:
Working closely with business development and distribution,
Creating and maintaining marketing content and materials
Supporting responses to CLO investor queries and other client deliverables, including DDQs, RFPs, manager commentaries, etc., in a timely manner
Work closely with other members on the CLO management team, technology, legal and compliance and operations team to develop, streamline and improve workflows/processes for our capital markets and issuance processes
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience on a CLO structuring desk
Strong and demonstrable modelling and coding ability
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional experience working on (or knowledge of) other types of ABS transactions and securitizations
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels
Ability to think critically and find creative, practical solutions to achieve objectives
Strong oral and written communication skills including presentations and public speaking
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional groups

Base Pay Range: $133,900/yr. - $185,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
