TIAA Trust Cash Processing Manager in ST. LOUIS, Missouri
As a part of TIAA’s Financial Solutions business, TIAA Bank, a division of TIAA, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.
The Cash Processing Manager monitors department workflow and ensures payments and posts are timely and accurate. Assists with departmental risk and operating efficiencies. Ensure functions are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Position is a working manager and will have their own cash processing specialist duties as needed to cover workflow / volume (i.e. sets up payments / posts cash to and from Trust accounts).
•Oversee and manage operations and staff in Cash Processing Department.
•Research and problem solve for items such as missing transactions or funds, etc.
•Identifies opportunities to enhance client experience through independent identification of issues
•Organize departmental workflow to ensure productivity is maintained.
•Responsible for creating/maintaining departmental policies and procedures as company or industry dictates.
•Train, develop and manage career development of staff.
•Prepare and deliver performance appraisals.
•Miscellaneous tasks and administrative support as needed.
•May serve as a resource to other Assistants, Administrators, and Business Partners on the operational details of cash processing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Ability to analyze and research high level of issues and complications regarding payment processing.
•General knowledge of Trust, IRA and Agency business. Technical expertise in cash processing within Trust.
•General Understanding of the Operations of Trust Cash Processing. Up to date with Trust trends.
•Ability to deliver our clients internal and external with exceptional level of service. Leadership skills.
•Knowledge of trust accounting systems (i.e.SEI), Word and Excel
•Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to manage strong workloads and balance assignments
•Organizational and time management skills
•Ability to prioritize and respond to requests quickly and efficiently.
•Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
•Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•3 years operations experience in Financial Services sector or Trust industry required
•5 years Trust operations management experience preferred
