TIAA Administrative Assistant, IAC in Topeka, Kansas
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and coordinates activities for specific individuals or teams, ensuring efficient office functioning through a range of responsibilities. Under moderate supervision, job provides an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the success of daily operations for employees of all levels.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Maintains office inventory, facilitates supply orders and completes other general office duties.
Supports employees with various tasks related to onboarding, appointment setting and travel arrangements.
Provides meeting assistance through scheduling, presentation preparation and diligent note taking.
Handles various office tasks related to communication and organization.
Upholds organizational policy and procedures, while also ensuring office-wide coordination efforts among various teams and departments.

Administrative Support within the Investment & Advisory Center (IAC) is virtual and in support of virtual teams.
Key Aspects of the role include (but is not limited to):
Leadership Support
Day to Day Support of the Client/Associate Experience (Follow up; Scheduling; Outreach; Practice Management; Forms; Inbound Phone Support, etc.)
IAC Priority & Project Support
Preferred Qualifications:
3 plus years of experience within the financial services industry preferred
Experience providing administration support to approximately 7+ professionals
Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Outlook, Word and Excel, Powerpoint); Travel & Expense systems
Flexibility & willingness to establish, share, and drive best practices/process to an evolving business model
Able to multi-task and produce in a fast paced, team environment
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Organized, detail oriented and follows-through
Desire to commence and grow career within a diversified financial services company
Ability to interpret financial data and terminology a plus
Potential Salary: $27.60 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
