An Analyst on the US Fixed Income Trade Settlements team is responsible for the confirmation, communication, and settlement of Nuveen’s US Fixed Income trades. This individual works closely with Traders, Brokers, and Custodians to ensure trades are recorded accurately, matched against the counterparty’s details, and recorded and settled in a timely manner by the custodian banks.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Receipt of counterparty trade confirmations and matching of those confirmations against Nuveen’s trade details
Management of mismatched and missing confirmations
Communication of trade activity to custodians, fund administrators, and other interested parties
Management of failed trades
Other duties as assigned and required

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role is located at our TIAA office in San Francisco, CA but will be currently remote.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 12 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
Experience interacting with internal and external business team, including management, brokers and custodians
Experience working in fixed income environment, including but not limited to investment operations and controls
