Nuveen Investments Director, CPACE Origination - Northern California in United States
Dir, CPACE Origination
The Director, CPACE Origination manages the loan origination process within C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy), establishes channel partner relationships, and drives complex commercial projects through to completion. This job develops professional relationships with capital advisors, deal sponsors, contractors, commercial developers, and property owners.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluates C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) projects and ensures compliance with program guidelines, energy savings, and production estimates.
Develops strategic relationships with real estate developers, brokers, and third-party professionals.
Forms relationships with commercial real estate professionals such as building owners, developers, professional services, and clean energy contractors.
Manages a diversified portfolio of C-PACE projects of various complexity.
Leverages C-PACE expertise and educates community on how to finance new developments and sustainable property improvements.
Works with the business development team and refines C-PACE processes for efficiency and scalability.
Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Base Pay Range: $120,000/yr. - $200,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
