Sr. Manager, Clean Energy Policy
The Sr. Manager, Clean Energy Policy will play a critical role in expanding NGC's capacity in growing our footprint and lending offerings across the country. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Work with Head of Programs & Clean Energy Products to support federal, state, and local clean energy policy objectives of NGC
Identify and elevate complimentary legislative activities at the federal, state, and local levels that enable robust market conditions for deploying NGCâs C-PACE, solar, and other clean energy lending products
Research energy efficiency, clean energy, and climate resiliency legislative priorities for NGC
Supportive NGC partners in advocated for and supporting legislative priorities as needed
Represent NGC in advocacy efforts with federal, state, and local agencies on clean energy and climate policies including directly supporting lobbying and legislative sponsorship activities
Coordinate with Sr Director, Policy and Associate Director, Programs to support growth of C-PACE markets across country and internationally
Support lobbying and legislative sponsorship for new state C-PACE bills, legislative amendments, or defensive legislative activities in select states
Support activities at the federal level to accelerate the adoption of C-PACE including working with federal agency C-PACE guidelines, supporting efforts to integrate policies that would accelerate C-PACE deployment
Proactively monitor, identify, and manage legislative threats and opportunities as they arise, nationwide, sometimes in coordination with other market participants

Potential Salary: $81,035.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
